SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for "Hell No, Dolly!", the latest episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
Legends of Tomorrow members Constantine and Charlie just broke the timeline -- again. In "Hell No, Dolly!", the latest episode, Constantine changed a fixed point in time and prevented his boyfriend Dez from being sent to hell, which fractured all of reality. Now, Constantine and Charlie will have to navigate a series of alternate realities as they attempt to put things back to the way they originally were.
"Constantine and her basically screwed up the timeline," explained Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who plays Charlie. "It's hilarious. Every act, you basically see the Legends in a different form. I don't want to give it away, but the puppet is one of them. And it's just this mad, mad journey throughout time of coming back and thinking you've fixed it and they're in a completely different universe because one thing has changed."
"Charlie being Charlie, being a magical creature, she kind of takes everything under her wing. Like, she's just like, 'All right, this is what it is. How can we fix it?'" she added. "Nothing really phases her. I do think she actually gets a kick out of it. At the end of the day, she bonds with the Legends and realizes she makes a decision to stay and sacrifices her powers to save them. Seeing them in all these different ways makes her a bit fond of them. When they do come back, she's like, all right. I'll have them around."
At the very end of the episode, after reality fractured around them, Charlie came to discover that Zari had been transformed into a cat with red eyes. From the looks of the promo for the mid-season finale, that won't be the only change. It appears as though there's a universe where Sara, Ava and Gideon become the Time Bureau's version of the Charlie's Angels; another where Nate, Ray and Mick are Rambo-like survivalists; and an even stranger one where everyone is a puppet (oh, did we forget to mention there are zombies there too?). Per Richardson-Sellers' tease, she and Constantine will attempt to fix the timeline, but it most definitely will be a bumpy ride.
Airing Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan and Courtney Ford.
