The third season of CW's Legends of Tomorrow will see our time-traveling miscreants head to 1870 to deal with one PT Barnum. Unfortunately, they'll have some trouble on their hands, if the logline for the upcoming episode (titled "It's Always a Circus") is anything to go by. Played by Billy Zane of Titanic and The Phantom fame, Zane's take on Barnum will do whatever it takes to appeal to the masses, even if that means kidnapping two of the Legends.
The Legends find themselves in 1870 to fix the anachronism which happens to be at P.T. Barnum’s fledgling circus. However, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) accidently free a saber toothed tiger, creating a bigger problem. Meanwhile, P.T. Barnum (guest star Billy Zane) is on the hunt to capture Nate and Ray to make his show even more exciting for the crowd. Caity Lotz, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Keith Tancharoen directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Grainne Godfree (#302). Original airdate 10/17/2017.
Returning Tuesday, Oct. 10, on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Victor Garber as Martin Stein, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel.
