Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has floated the idea of running for president more than once, and Legends of Tomorrow will visit a future where that apparently became a reality.

The CW posted a new interview with Legends executive producer Keto Shimizu on its website, titled "Screwing Summer Up For The Better." The interview features footage from Season 6's third episode "The Ex-Factor," where Nate Heywood marvels at the fact that Johnson has become president in the year 2045 -- and even hopes that John Cena is his chief of staff. The promo for 'The Ex-Factor" revealed that an armored alien will enter a singing contest known as the "Ex-Factor," with Zari Terazi being his competition.

"This season of Legends is so much fun," Shimizu said during the interview. "We're really proud of what we've been able to do...It's a ride from start to finish." She also discussed the Legends' newest recruit Spooner and the "wonderful new energy" she brings to the team.

Season 6 of Legends of Tomorrow features the team searching through time for their leader Sara Lance, who was abducted by aliens. Sara attempted to free herself, but in the process wound up sending multiple aliens crashing into different points in time. Legends of Tomorrow earned a Season 7 renewal in February -- though it will return with one less cast member, as Dominic Purcell is leaving the show after Season 6.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Olivia Swann, Jes Macallan, Adam Tsekhman, Shayan Sobhian, Lisseth Chavez and Raffi Barsoumian. Season 6 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
