"Legends Of Tomorrow" Synopsis Reveals White Canary's Regression

The time-traveling crew of the Waverider have already gone through a lot in their brief time together; they've traveled from the 1970s to the 2040s and even spent some time marooned. Tonight's "Legends of Tomorrow" episode, "Night of the Hawk," will see the team travel to the 1950s in their quest to stop Vandal Savage.

The CW has released a synopsis for "Left Behind," the episode following tonight's installment -- and consider yourself warned, because it contains a few spoilers for the climax of tonight's episode. It also reveals that a certain major figure from Sara Lance's past will return, most likely making this whole hero thing even more difficult for the White Canary.

SARA RETURNS TO THE LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS - Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) and Kendra (Ciara Renee) are shocked after they watch the Waverider fly off without them, leaving them stranded in the '50s. After waiting months for their teammates to come back, the three realize they must move on with their lives. Ray and Kendra bond as a couple but Sara decides to return to the League of Assassins and Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable). John Showalter directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree (LEG109). Original airdate 3/31/2016.

"Legends of Tomorrow" airs on Thursdays at 8 PM ET on the CW.
