New details about DC's Legends of Tomorrow's next season have been revealed, including the Legends getting literally grounded.

Legends showrunners Phil Klemmer and Keto Shimizu talked about how Season 7 is coming along at Comic-Con@Home, with Shimizu teasing that they've "broken episode two" and are currently working on the show's 100th episode. After divulging that Gideon's voice actor, Amy Louise Pemberton, will receive a human form and be upgraded to series regular status, Klemmer joined in by vaguely describing the "rough shape for seven."

Without delving into spoilers, Klemmer foreshadowed the team being "stuck in a particular place and time and all the things you normally rely upon, which are technological...  this is the first time where, you know, instead of being able to like, you know, go from one place to another, next to the next, you guys are stuck and so it's more of like a real-world odyssey." Drawing comparisons to the Coen Brothers film O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Season 6's "The Satanist's Apprentice," which saw Astra Lobe struggle with a non-magical daily routine, he admitted that "there's something so charming watching superheroes have to deal with, like, totally real-world, frustrating, annoying... you know how you get to point A to point B when you don't have the ability to travel through time or whatever."

In addition to the Waverider and various time periods, Legends of Tomorrow's sixth season has featured a handful of specific reoccurring locations. One was the alien planet Sara Lance and Gary Green landed on following Sara's abduction, later revealed to be the home of Bishop, creator of the AVA clones. The other is John Constantine's English manor, which the Legends briefly used as their residence while Mick Rory took the Waverider to go look for Sara. The Manor also featured a portrait housing the spirit of Aleister Crowley, whom Constantine briefly partnered with to locate the Fountain of Imperium in hopes of restoring his magical abilities.
