DC's Legends of Tomorrow has seen its team of misfits and outcasts grow into a family over the course of the series; however, Season 6 will feature more development between actual show siblings Zari and Behrad Tarazi.

During the DC FanDome panel for Season 6 of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, executive producer Keto Shimzu revealed that the second episode will delve more into the Tarazis' family relationship, specifically how Behrad felt growing up in Zari's shadow. Showrunner Phil Klemmer stated that the two would also learn to share the power of their ancestral Air Totem.

Zari and Behrad have been as equally separated by the Legends' time disturbances as they have been united. A past version of Zari appeared during Season 3 of DC's Legends of Tomorrow and ended up boarding the Waverider. During the Season 4 finale, the Legends ended up altering time which brought Behrad, her brother, back to life. Shifting time also caused Zari to become a social media mogul, erasing memories of her ever joining the Legends. Eventually, her past memories were unlocked and she rejoined the team to help defeat the Fates. When Behrad started to die due to two Zaris existing in the same timeline, Zari 1.0 decided to withdraw into the Air Totem like all her prior ancestors have done before her. During the panel, star Tala Ashe said that she was looking forward to fleshing Zari 2.0 out even more.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Olivia Swann and Jes Macallan. Season 6 will premiere in 2021 on The CW.
