The CW has debuted the first trailer for Season 5 of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and in case there were any doubts, the new footage proves the series is just as wacky as ever.

The clip begins with a shot of Brandon Routh's Kingdom Come Superman and The Monitor from the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover. However, soon after, it transitions into the show's familiar tone as Ray Palmer walks through the front door on the set of Mister Parker's Cul De Sac, a decidedly Mister Rogers' Neighborhood-esque parody.

After that, the trailer ramps up the action, and we even see The Atom enlarge as blood splatters around him from all angles, almost as if he did it from inside someone, a la the popular Avengers: Endgame Ant-Man/Thanos fan theory. Once again, though, the show's lighthearted tone reemerges, along with the "Puppets of Tomorrow" and an "I la la love you" from Beebo.

Returning on Jan. 21, 2020, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Brandon Routh, Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Jes Macallan and Courtney Ford.
