According to TVLine, a "disillusioned" and "snarky" version of the real-life physicist will appear in one episode of "Legends" Season 2. "Look for the Legends of Tomorrow crew to cross paths with a circa-1942 Albert Einstein in Season 2, but they're disillusioned to discover that the legendary scientist is a snarky, brusque skirt-chaser. Needless to say, he proves to be quite a handful when they attempt to save his life." Casting for the Einstein role has yet to be announced.

Einstein's "Legends" appearance marks 30 years since the character appeared in DC Comics' "Superman" title under the pen of writer Elliot S! Maggin and artist Curt Swan. He also appeared in 1986's "DC Challenge" #6 by Maggin and artist Dan Jurgens.
