Legends of Tomorrow Writers Soothe Fans' Fears About 'Missing' Cast Members

Legends of Tomorrow

A photo commemorating the start of filming on Season 5 of The CW's superhero ensemble series DC's Legends of Tomorrow has some fans concerned about the fate of the actors missing from the photo.

The photo features Shayan Sobhian (Behrad Tomaz), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory/Heat Wave), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Jes Macallan (Ava Sharpe), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary), Nick Zano (Nate Heywood/Commander Steel) and Ramona Young (Mona Wu). Conspicuous by their absence, though, are Tala Ashe (Zari Tomaz), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Charlie) and Matt Ryan (John Constantine).

Thankfully, the writers have assured fans that the photo is just from day one of filming, which explains why the entire cast isn't present.

Still, while Constantine and Charlie were safe at the end of Season 4, it remains to be seen how Zari will factor into Season 5. After all, in the Season 4 finale, she was replaced by her brother Behrad after the team erased the dystopian 2042 from history.
