"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" are going to have to rescue Rip Hunter from himself. In a new promo for "Raiders of the Lost Art," the mid-season premiere, Rip just can't wrap his head around the fact that he's not actually a graduate film student named Phil.

As it turns out, the Legion of Doom has thoroughly scrambled Rip's brain, so much so that he's been reprogrammed with a new identity. Now, the Legends are going to have to convince him of who he is and restore his true identity, but Phil isn't going to go peacefully.

However, the aberration caused by this change drew the Legends straight to him, and now they'll do whatever they can to get their Rip Hunter back -- but that doesn't mean it'll be easy. Phil isn't so much impressed by the appearance of the Waverider as he is terrified, as evidenced by the fact that the sight of it makes him faint on the spot.
