While DC's Legends of Tomorrow's Adam Tsekhman might not have superhuman strength as Gary Green, he certainly feels the Superman-like connection due to his character's glasses.

When speaking to CBR about Gary's alien arc in Season 6, Tsekhman discussed how he never wore an alien suit. Stunt performer Chris Olson -- who plays Gary's alien form -- stepped in instead. Tsekhman stated that otherwise going back and forth between an alien and human form would be impossible to schedule, noting, "It's like, 'Okay, Gary, now take off your glasses,' and now alien Gary steps in and continues the scene. Now he puts on the glasses. You know, the schedule would have been impossible. And not only that, Chris does an amazing job. I mean, watching the episodes, like, 'Wow, the way he moves is hilarious!'"

When asked about comparisons between Gary's glasses and those of Clark Kent, Tsekhman felt that his disguise worked better at drawing less attention from the public, stating, "I mean, it's always kind of funny [those] Clark Kent glasses, those are just not that much of -- like, it's still clearly Superman. But at least, in this case, the glasses, I mean, that is a big transformation! You definitely would not know that that's an alien."

First introduced in Legends of Tomorrow's Season 4 as a neurotic member of the Time Bureau, Gary was briefly turned to the dark side by the demon Neron. Fortunately, Gary managed to redeem himself and become a Legends ally. However, LegendsSeason 6 premiere revealed that Gary is an alien tasked by a benefactor to collect human specimens like Sara Lance, with the character's glasses providing a humanoid camouflage to mask his extraterrestrial form. Despite this, Gary agreed to help Sara return home thanks to the friendship he developed with her and the Legends.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Olivia Swann, Jes Macallan, Adam Tsekhman, Shayan Sobhian, Lisseth Chavez and Raffi Barsoumian. Season 6 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
