The second season of "Legends of Tomorrow" has already been a lot of fun. The show has done a good job at combining pop-culture, DC comics trivia, and beautiful-yet-goofy period costumes and sets to make a supremely comic book-y adventure show. In just a few episodes we've traveled to Renaissance-era France, dinosaur times, the Salem Witch Trials, World War II and Feudal Japan. Soon, the Legends will travel to one of the most dangerous time periods they've ever faced: Reagan's America.
The CW has released photos from the episode, titled "Compromise," which include the reveal of Lance Henriksen ("Aliens," "Millennium") as Obsidian.
The episode was described by the CW as follows:
When the Legends trace a timequake to President Reagan's White House, they are shocked to discover their old enemy Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) is now a Senior Adviser to Reagan. As the team works to uncover what Darhk has up his devious sleeve, Sara (Caity Lotz) struggles with the choice of getting revenge or helping with the team's larger mission.
Meanwhile, Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and the newly dubbed Citizen Steel (Nick Zano) have to team up to break into the JSA headquarters. Additionally, Dr. Stein (Victor Garber) needs to confront his younger self -- and if it's anything like their last encounter, shenanigans will ensue. Remember, last time he told his younger self that he was Elon Musk and tried to get him to say no to drugs.
From the released photos, it seems Vixen is really getting a handle on time travel fashion. Her animal print top alludes to her superpowers while being fabulously 80s. The rest of the Legends clean up nicely too. Jax in particular looks dapper in his dinner jacket.
Shocked that Damien Darhk has the ear of Ronald Reagan?
