Legends of Tomorrow is adding a Mass Effect alum to its upcoming season.

Nic Bishop will guest star in the Season 6 episode "Bay of Squids" as warmonger General Kilgore, who encourages John F. Kennedy to launch World War III after an alien presence is detected in Cuba. It falls to Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) and Zari Terazi (Tala Ashe) to stop him. The episode is meant to riff on the classic Stanley Kubrick film Dr. Strangelove, Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb.

In addition to providing voice work for Mass Effect: Andromeda, Bishop has starred on multiple television series, including USA's Covert Affairs and FX's Snowfall. He currently appears on the Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told.

Season 6 of Legends of Tomorrow finds the Legends combatting alien forces, as they grapple with the abduction of their captain Sara Lance. They will also gain a new ally in Esperanza "Spooner" Cruz (Lisseth Chavez), a survivor of an alien encounter that supposedly left her with psychic abilities. They will also battle a new villain in Raffi Barsoumian's sadistic super genius Bishop.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Matt Ryan, Olivia Swann, Jes Macallan, Adam Tsekhman and Shayan Sobhian. Season 6 will premiere in 2021 on The CW.
