WARNING: The following contains spoilers for DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 7, Episode 13, "Knocked Down, Knocked Up," which aired Wednesday, March 2 on The CW.

Earlier this year, Donald Faison was announced to be joining the Legends of Tomorrow cast. Naturally, fans of DC Comics began speculating on who this character might be from the vague description and came up with a possible choice. It wasn't until the Season 7 finale "Knocked Down, Knocked Up" that audiences were finally given an answer about who exactly Faison is portraying.

Faison's debut scene started with him playing golf -- but time had paused around him. There were subtle hints in his outfit and general mannerisms that started to solidify the fan theory, but it wasn't until the last few minutes of the episode that Faison's character was finally revealed to be none other than Booster Gold.

Legends of Tomorrow Beebo

For those unaware, Booster Gold is a superhero from the future who came back in time to make a name for himself and gain the fortune and fame associated with being a hero. He tends to place his need for fame over the duty of saving people. He also a connection to the Legends; in the New 52 continuity it was revealed that Booster is the father of Rip Hunter, who in Legends of Tomorrow was the Waverider's first Captain. While it's unclear if the show will take this route, it's an interesting thought because fans have been waiting for Booster to appear, especially once the episodes started getting zanier and zanier.

Booster Gold has appeared in many DC animated series, but only once in live-action -- nearly two decades ago in Smallville. Faison's interpretation of the character, from what little audiences have seen, seems to prove that he is perfect for the role. The actor is known for roles such as Murray in the cult classic Clueless and as Dr. Christopher Turk in the sitcom Scrubs where he starred alongside Zach Braff as Dr. John "JD" Dorian (who also gave rise to a wild fan theory)

With Faison's Booster Gold finally making his appearance, audiences have begun speculating about whether Braff could join Legends of Tomorrow as well. He could provide the voice of Skeets, the loyal robot companion that follows Booster Gold everywhere he goes. Braff could also be a contender for the role of Ted Kord aka The Blue Beetle, who has been referenced and hinted at throughout the Arrowverse since the beginning. Kord Industries has provided many pieces of stolen tech used by various villains on Arrow and The Flash.

The friendship between Booster and Ted is one of the greatest and most heartwarming of all DC duos, and the chemistry between Faison and Braff -- who host a podcast together called Fake Doctors Real Friends -- would be perfect to bring the Blue Beetle/Booster Gold friendship to screen. But that would require Legends of Tomorrow being renewed for Season 8; the show has yet to earn another season. Unless it cheats death like Damien Darkh, this one episode might be all viewers see of Donald Faison as Booster Gold.
