Constantine is going to make good on his promise to help DC's Legends of Tomorrow fight Mallus. The accomplished warlock, who appeared in the midseason finale, will return for another episode in Season 3.

Warner Bros. Television confirmed to ComicBook.com that Matt Ryan will reprise the role of Constantine in "Necromancing the Stone," the 15th episode of the current season. The confirmation follows an Instagram post from Legends star Nick Zano that appears to show Ryan's Constantine standing in the background.

As Zano's post refers to the season finale, it is unclear if Constantine will show up for a third episode; after all, the photo above may have been taken during the filming of "Necromancing the Stone." At the time of writing, Ryan is only confirmed to return for "Necromancing the Stone," which is set to bow in March.

In "Daddy Darhkest," the midseason premiere, Constantine came calling when he stumbled across a girl possessed by a demon that knew Sara Lance's name. The demon turned out to be Mallus, who has been antagonizing the Legends throughout Season 3. With some help from Sara and Citizen Cold, Constantine attempted to exorcise the demon, causing them to be blasted back in time. Without access to the Waverider, the three were forced to take desperate measures; Sara allowed herself to be possessed by Mallus, so that she could recreate the rune that sent them through time.

Though they were successful in returning to the present, Sara's sacrifice left a little piece of Mallus inside of her. Realizing this, Constantine promised to come back and help the Legends should they need it. He even went so far as to tell Ray to keep developing his anti-magic ray, in the event Mallus seized control of Sara again. Per the confirmation of Ryan's return to Legends, it looks like Constantine will make good on this promise.

Airing Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel.
