The CW released the synopsis for the upcoming 100th episode of Legends of Tomorrow titled "wvrdr_error_100<oest-of-th3-gs.gid30n> not found," in which one member of the Waverider will find themselves in danger.
According to the episode's synopsis, human Gideon, played by Amy Pemberton, will find herself overwhelmed by her human choices. As Astra and Spooner try to help her, they discover that a virus is threatening to destroy all of Gideon's memories. The rest of the team, meanwhile, will be going up against a "powerful new foe." The 100th episode of Legends of Tomorrow, which is also the third episode of Season 7, airs on The CW on Oct. 27.
Recently it was announced that Wentworth Miller will be returning to reprise his role of Captain Cold for the 100th episode, with a few other potential returning cast members. Showrunner Phil Klemmer revealed in a previous interview that Gideon will be the center point of the milestone episode, as Season 7, in general, will explore the character as a human rather than an AI.
"Well, there's the mechanical difficulty of her just having a massive AI smushed into a human brain, which wasn't meant to really hold that vast reservoir of just data. Beyond that, she gradually developed humanity," Klemmer said in an interview with CBR. "You know, she was pretty cold and calculating Season 1. She changed with our Legends. Our 100th episode is basically a retrospective of showing how Gideon the computer learned from our Legends' lessons, both good and bad. But for human Gideon, this is the first time she's actually experienced life with the team."

LEGENDS OF PAST AND PRESENT IN THE 100th EPISODE – With Astra (Olivia Swann), Spooner (Lisseth Chavez) and a now-human Gideon (Amy Pemberton) trying to save the Legends, Gideon becomes overwhelmed by her new human choices sending her into a catatonic state. Astra and Spooner combine their powers to enter Gideon’s mindscape and discover that a virus is trying to erase all of Gideon’s memories. Acting fast, they devise a plan to defeat the virus before it’s too late. Meanwhile, the Legends are about to go up against a powerful new foe. Legends of Tomorrow returns with its Season 7 premiere, "The Bullet Blondes," on Oct. 13 on The CW.
