'Legend Of Korra' Debuts Opening Clip From Season 4 Premiere

IGN has posted the first clip from the upcoming season premiere of The Legend of Korra. The massively popular Nickelodeon series, a spinoff of Avatar: The Last Airbender, surprised fans over the summer when it was announced that the show would move to being available exclusively online as opposed to airing on the network. Fans' worries that the show would not see its intended conclusion were quelled, however, when the network followed up that surprising announcement by revealing that the show's fourth season would debut mere weeks after the previous season's finale.

This clip from the upcoming season four premiere introduces viewers to the new Republic City, three years in the future. Korra has a park named after her, spirits and people live together in harmony, and Asami still has to fend off advances from doofy suitors -- because some things never change.

Check out the clip below, and come back to SPINOFF todayat 8:00 AM Pacific for an interview with Korra creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino about the online shift and the upcoming Book 4.

The Legend of Korra, Book 4: Balance premieres Friday, Oct. 3, on Nick.com and the Nick App.
