WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Legacies Season 4, Episode 12, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost," which aired Thursday, March 10 on The CW.

After all of the mayhem that happened last week, Legacies' latest episode opens with Hope and the now-sired Heretic Lizzie teaming up to defeat Aurora. Hope magically chains Aurora to a chair to learn why she wants to go after the gods. Aurora is determined to hold back information from Hope, which leads the now-Tribreed Hope to remove Aurora's day-ring so she can set her on fire with daylight.

Back in the Underworld, the recently argumentative Alaric, Landon and Ted take plenty of whisky shots as they debate how to use their newfound genie's three wishes. The trio signs a magical contract for them to each have one wish to use. Landon makes a wish first and things seem okay -- that is until they realize Alaric is missing. Turns out that the genie couldn't bring the trio back to the mortal realm because he technically isn't dead. (He's not being dangerously irresponsible like some other genies.) Viewers learn that Alaric is still in a coma on Earth, even though his spirit is in limbo. The Ferryman then drags Landon and Ted back to limbo.

Lizzie tricks a sunburnt and brain-broken Aurora into thinking she is Tristian de Martel. Although Lizzie learns what Hope wanted to know about Aurora's plan to find the gods, the Tribreed has a very Buffy's Willow "bored now" moment and crafts a blade-blender to magically drill into Aurora's heart. Gross. But Hope still keeps Aurora alive to torture her. Lizzie calls Hope a monster and Hope reminds Lizzie her humanity is still off. Hope commands Lizzie to kill Aurora, but Lizzie breaks free from her sired bond with Hope and snaps the Tribreed's neck.

After sparing Aurora's life, Lizzie apologies for brutally torturing her. Surprisingly, she asks Aurora to team up with her to find the gods (or at least one god) to bend time back to a time when Tristian is alive, Alaric is well and Hope never lost her humanity. As the two conspire against Hope, the Tribreed stumbles on a darkened road in the middle of the night. It appears that she's starting to feel some of her humanity. However, she quickly pushes those feelings away and decides to feed on a stranger to prove that she is an unfeeling monster... But fans aren't entirely convinced that doesn't mean her feelings are returning after being betrayed by Lizzie.

As Landon and Ted try to find another way out of limbo through crafting the perfect wish, Alaric reveals he's already used their second wish. Alaric wishes for Ted to turn back into The Necromancer so that he can find a spell that could revive the three of them. Landon admits to Alaric that he's been keeping a secret about Josie, Hope and Lizzie. The Necromancer decides to only bring back Alaric -- convinced that he'll fail the Salvatore School as he usually does.

A shiny blast of a magic ball sends Alaric's spirit back into his comatose body. Fortunately, Alaric made sure to also wish that The Necromancer could return on the condition that his powers would only work to bring him, Landon, and Ted back to the mortal plane. Landon then tells The Necromancer he's up for spending as long as it takes to get Ted back and help him reach peace.
