Fan-favorite vampire Milton "MG" Greasley might find love in Season 2 of The CW's The Vampire Diaries spinoff series Legacies.

The series has cast Ebboney Wilson in a recurring role as Kym, a young human woman attracted to the vampiric student assist. She will develop a deep curiosity about his supernatural world. Wilson has previously guest starred in episodes of Murder in the First and Speechless.

Legacies is a continuation of The Vampire Diaries and its first spinoff The Originals. It follows the adventures of Hope Mikaelson, who appeared in the fifth and final season of The Originals. As the descendant of vampire, witch and werewolf bloodlines, Hope enrolls in the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, with fellow paranormal figures including MG, a friendly vampire working as a student assistant for Alaric Saltzman.

Details on Season 2 have been largely kept under wraps but the inaugural season ended with Hope sacrificing herself and erasing her friends' memories of her to save the school, with her return teased to launch the second season next month.

Legacies stars Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, Jenny Boyd as Lizzie Saltzman, Kaylee Bryant as Josie Saltzman, Quincy Fouse as Milton Greasley/MG, Aria Shahghasemi as Landon Kirby, Peyton Alex Smith as Rafael Waithe and Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman. Season 2 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
