WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Legacies Season 3, Episode 5, "This Is What It Takes," which aired Thursday on The CW.

Hope Mikaelson is on the verge of exploding in a promo clip for Legacies Season 4, Episode 6.

Posted on The CW's YouTube, the clip finds Hope attempting to move on following the events of Episode 6 -- when she concluded that her boyfriend Landon Kirby is really dead.

"I see anger, fear," Hope says in a voiceover while footage shows her going through the motions inside the halls of The Salvatore School. "Every room I go into reminds me of him," Hope adds. "I know I'm supposed to move forward, but I don't know how."

At one point in the trailer, Kaleb (Chris Lee) tells Hope, "You look like you're about to explode." She responds with, "I'm fine." The teaser also shows footage of Landon, who appears to be stuck in some sort of Purgatory, reaching for a door with a light on the other side. The clip ends with Landon saying, "I love you, Hope Mikaelson."

In Season 3, Episode 5, "This Is What It Takes," Hope jumped back into the therapy box at the suggestion of Headmaster Alaric Saltzman, who believed examining her subconscious might help Hope find out how to bring Landon back to her and the Salvatore School.

In doing so, Hope was dropped into an '80s slasher film-reality with a killer Mystic Falls Maintenance Man terrorizing a summer camp inhabited by Hope and her friends. No matter what Hope does, her friends die at the hands of the killer -- and Landon is nowhere to be found. When Hope finally comes face to face with the Maintenance Man, she kills him.

However, when Hope unmasks the killer, she learns the person underneath the mask is Landon. He then comes back to life and explains to her that because she's toxic to Malivore, and he is Malivore's biological son, they can never be together. While the episode ended with Hope realizing that she has to move on, the latest clip suggests it won't be easy for her.

Legacies stars Danielle Rose Russell, Jenny Boyd, Kaylee Bryant, Quincy Fouse, Aria Shahghasemi, Peyton Alex Smith, Matt Davis, Chris Lee, Ben Levin and Leo Howard. New episodes air Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
