Riot Forge has released for a trailer for League of Legends: Ruined King.The Game Awards wrote on Twitter, "League of Legends World Premiere Trailer for Ruined King: A League of Legends Story." The post was followed by the official trailer.
The trailer opens with a grisly voice stating, "My King..." It goes into a series of close-up images of jagged metal and rock. "Long have you waited," the gravel-voiced narrator states. "Now, the time has come for your revenge." A full scene emerges of a hidden cave as spirits arise and set out on an unknown mission.
The narrator continues his monologue, uttering words like "fear," "suffering" and "ruin." The spirits fly and glide across the ocean, passing by ships and landmasses in pursuit of terror and vengeance. A haunting soundtrack illustrates the impending doom awaiting the place and people of the final destination, seen towards the end. The narrator ends the trailer with an ominous "They will know your name."
Along with Ruined King, the gaming company announced CONV/RGENCE: A League of Legends Story, a single-player action platformer. No release date has been announced for either game, but the company stated both will arrive on consoles and PCs soon.
