Sheryl Lee's Laura Palmer famously told FBI Agent Dale Cooper that she would see him in 25 years. Twin Peaks co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost took that to heart, and in October announced a new nine-episode season of the groundbreaking television series on Showtime.

Now, thanks to a press conference at the Television Critics Association’s Winter Press Tour 2015 (via TheWrap), we now know that Lee is set to return, along with Dana Ashbook, who played Laura's boyfriend Bobby Briggs. Sherilyn Fenn may also reprise her role as Audrey Horne.

Ever since the relaunch was announced, fans have been wondering which stars from the original would return. Kyle MacLachlan officially announced last week he'll again play Agent Cooper.

Lynch and Frost are writing every episode of the series, with Lynch directing. They're aiming to get the episodes on the air next year to properly celebrate the show's 25th anniversary.
