There's been a lot of "Arrow" season four casting news lately, and here comes more: The Wrap has word that J.R. Bourne will play Double Down on the third episode of the upcoming season, a villain from the DC Comics source material primarily associated with The Flash.

As in the comics, Double Down will be Jeremy Tell, "a metahuman who can turn his playing card tattoos into deadly weapons." Double Down was created by DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and artist Ethan Van Sciver, and first appeared in 2001 one-shot "The Flash: Iron Heights."

Bourne has appeared in recurring roles on multiple series, including "Stargate SG-1," "Teen Wolf" and "Revenge." He joins several new additions to "Arrow" for its fourth season, including Echo Kellum as Mr. Terrific, Alexander Calvert as Anarky, Jimmy Akingbola as Baron Reiter and Jeri Ryan as Jessica Danforth.

"Arrow" season four is slated to premiere Oct. 7 on The CW.
