I'll admit, with all the preparation for the Top Runs countdown (while also writing a bit for the Comic Book Alphabet), I totally forgot about Snark Free Corner yesterday! Sorry! So here you go, your latest installment of your breath of snark free air!

Enjoy!

SNARK FREE DEBATE

Who was the best artist during Doug Moench's run on Master of Kung Fu?

There were four main artists during Doug Moench's run on Master of Kung Fu: Paul Gulacy, Jim Craig, Mike Zeck and Gene Day.

All of them had their strengths and weaknesses, but who was the best artist for the book?

Gulacy's run is the most famous, while Craig is the least famous.

Gulacy has probably the coolest faces, while Zeck was the best action depicter of the four (in my humble opinion, of course).

Day was the most detailed of the four, and I think the best at creating a mood.

I dunno, it's a really close call between the four.

What say you all?

COVER THEME GAME

As always, here is the game. I show three covers. They all have something in common, whether it be a character, a trait all three characters share, locale, creator, SOMEthing. And it isn't something obvious like "They all have prices!" "They all have logos!" "They all feature a man!" etc.

In addition, please note that you must have some familiarity with comic book history to correctly guess these comics. You cannot guess the connective theme just by looking at the covers solely, you must have some knowledge beyond just the covers.

A cool point to the first person to figure it out!

Good luck!

SNARK FREE CHALLENGE

Who is the smarter Hank - Pym or McCoy?

THE COVER GAME

This week's game is as follows...

Find me a Spider-Man cover where his costume is in some tattered shape (only if the body of the costume is in tatters, not if the only part of the costume that is torn is the mask - as that seems to happen a little too frequently, so only if something OTHER than just the mask is torn).

Like this cover (which you can't use)...

Remember, only one cover per commenter!

Good luck!

5. This character's secret identity is one of those pun names, like USAgent's two secret identities (Johnny Walker and Jack Daniels, respectively - by the by, do you think the Johnny Walker name was intentional? Jack Daniels clearly was, but I dunno about Johnny Walker - it MIGHT have been a coincidence).

Who is it?

Well, that's it for this installment of Snark Free Corner Sorry for the delay!!

Hope you had fun!
