Sideshow Collectibles has released images of an exciting upcoming set of statues featuring Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us. The pair of collectibles are due to arrive this spring.

Sideshow Collectibles is well known for its finely crafted and highly detailed collectible statues. The set featuring Joel and Ellie includes a pair of statues that fit together to form a scene of the two iconic characters from the hit game series, as well as the upcoming HBO show.  The 1:9 scale figurines feature details drawn directly from the game, and they will come in at 7.5" and 8.5" tall, respectively. They'll also sell for a whopping $350 USD. These are just the latest models based on The Last of Us, as Sideshow Collectibles also did a series specifically focusing on The Last of Us Part II, the latest entry in the video game franchise.

The Last of Us has been in the headlines a lot recently. The franchise, which started with 2013's The Last of Us and continued with the 2020 Game of the Year contender The Last of Us Part II, has been acclaimed by critics and fans alike for its immersive gameplay and unrelentingly dark story-telling. The upcoming HBO series is building up steam and has fans caught in anticipation of the latest casting news. The series will feature Pedro Pascal as Joel, and his Game of Thrones costar Bella Ramsey as Ellie. It also boasts the game's creator, Neil Druckmann, as a co-writer and producer.

Sideshow Collectibles' new The Last of Us sculpts of Joel and Ellie will be available for a limited time between March and May 2021. The HBO series, sadly, will be a slightly longer wait.
