Disney has unveiled the first photos showing off the stars from its live-action Lady and the Tramp remake. And we're not just talking about the human voice actors.
First released to People, these photos not only show off the actors who will be giving our canine heroes their voices, but also the canines themselves, who -- as opposed to CGI -- will be played by real-life dogs.
The titular Tramp will be physically played by a rescue dog named Monte and voiced by actor Justin Theroux. Meanwhile, Lady is played by a cocker spaniel named Rose and voiced by none other than Thor: Ragnarok's Tessa Thompson.
Plenty of stars round out the cast. Trusty the bloodhound will be voiced by Sam Elliott. Janelle Monáe will voice the singing pooch Peg. Scottish actress Ashley Jensen will play a female version of Jock, the film's original Scottish terrier character. Benedict Wong will voice Bull, a bulldog character.
Lady and the Tramp stars Tessa Thompson and Rose as Lady, Justin Theroux and Monte as Tramp, Sam Elliott as Trusty, Ashley Jensen as Jock, Benedict Wong as Bull, Janelle Monáe as Peg, Kiersey Clemons as Darling Dear, Thomas Mann as Jim Dear, Yvette Nicole Brown as Aunt Sarah, Arian Martinez as Elliot and Arturo Castro as Marco. The film arrives Nov. 12 exclusively on Disney+.
