After the cliffhanger ending to its first season, Krypton returns later this year with SYFY releasing a first-look trailer of the upcoming second season.

The trailer shows General Dru-Zod beginning to reshape Krypton in his image while he embarks on a campaign of interstellar conquest, with several inhabitants prepared to launch a resistance against the time-displaced villain's rule.

Meanwhile, Zod and Superman's grandfather, Seg-El are seen confronting Brainiac, after the hyper-intelligent antagonist dragged the Kryptonian with him into the Phantom Zone at the conclusion of the Season 1 finale. Finally, Doomsday remains on the loose, after breaking free from imprisonment in the first season.

With three classic Superman villains and Lobo all confirmed to appear in the upcoming second season, Superman's grandfather will have his hands full in restoring the timeline to ensure his future grandson will become the greatest superhero the DC Universe has ever known.
