Kris Anka Makes DC Comics Debut With Young Justice

DC Comics has announced the artist lineup for Brian Michael Bendis' relaunch of Young Justice through June.

Fresh off the success of the debut issue by Bendis and Patrick Gleason, the series' second issue featured a key sequence focusing on Wonder Girl with art by Emanuela Lupacchino (Wonder Woman). Future issues will feature guest artists for different time periods. Gleason will continue to provide artwork for the main story.

The third issue, out on March 6, will include a sequence centered on Connor Kent from Viktor Bogdanovic (The Silencer), while the fourth issue, out on April 3, has an Amethyst sequence by John Timms (Harley Quinn).

Longtime Marvel artist Kris Anka (Runaways) will make his DC Comics debut with the fifth issue, out on May 1, with a story focused on Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown. Finally, the sixth issue, out on June 5, has an origin story for Jinny Hex, apparent descendant of iconic DC gunslinger Jonah Hex, from Elena Casagrande (Catwoman).

Bendis, Gleason and Lupacchino's Young Justice #2 is now on sale from DC Comics, with issue #3 slated to release on March 6. The second printing for the first issue is scheduled to be released on February 27.
