KonoSuba is one of the funniest anime to come out in recent memory. Based within the Isekai genre, it stars a complete jerk named Kazuma who died from shock and is taken into the fantasy world with a goddess named Aqua. As time goes on, he becomes entangled in a variety of quests along with building up a harem party. The only issue is that these girls are the best worst girls seen in fiction and as such dynamically brings hilarious problems to ensue. This dynamic makes this incredibly memorable for fans around the world but there are some episodes that are better than others.

Without further ado, here are the 10 best episodes across the two seasons of KonoSuba.

10 Season 1, Episode 6: Kono Roku De Mo Nai Tatakai Ni Kecchaku O! (8.0)

Starting off this list is an episode that focuses on Megumin. Thanks to her annoying the leader of the Devil's King Army, he brings his entire force to the town. Kazuma and the party have to stop him.

What's funny about this episode, aside from the usual funny jokes, is that there are actually inside conversations within the army. Not to mention the animation in regards to the action is also well done. Finally, the interaction between Beldia and Darkness is just fantastic.

9 Season 2, Episode 2: A Friend For This Crimson Demon Girl (8.1)

After Megumin awakens the Giant Toad enemy from hibernation, they're absolutely not happy about it. As a result, hilariousness ensues. What is great about this episode is the interactions between Yunyun and Megumin as their chemistry is just downright hilarious.

What's more, there are other parts of the episode that are humorous such as the bath scene which is a classic trope in Japanese anime. But probably the best part is at the end with the friendship orb where they are forced to watch past embarrassments in order to be closer as friends.

8 Season 2, Episode 4: A Betrothed For This Noble Daughter! (8.1)

konosuba

After the sudden return of Darkness, she asks the rest of the party to get her out of an arranged marriage with Walther. Taking advantage of this scenario, Kazuma simultaneously "helps" Darkness by telling her to take part in the wedding in the hopes of ruining it. Thereby getting a reward from Darkness's father. In a ridiculous and convoluted way to both end and maintain an arranged marriage at the same time, it's an episode that is the definition of everything that goes wrong does go wrong. At least for Kazuma.

7 Season 2, Episode 11: OVA: God's Blessings On This Wonderful Piece Of Art (8.1)

Meeting a novice adventurer named Ran, Kazuma and the party accepts a quest in order for Kazuma to look good in front of Ran who's a big fan of his. After the success of the quest, more quests start to pile up with Ran always being in the picture. After a series of events including a Robot with a whip due to a fetish, it's later learned that Ran isn't actually his fan. But rather there to ensure that the party gets more quests in their pocket. A perfect little OVA to end the second season.

6 Season 1, Episode 5: Kono Maken Ni Onedan O! (8.2)

Taking on a quest in order to purify a lake, it is learned that it is full of alligators. Locking herself away in a cage in order to protect her from the monsters, Aqua eventually finishes the quest but gets traumatized. So traumatized that she refuses to leave the cage even when they are back in town. It was only after Kazuma reminded her that she was a Goddess that she finally got out. As this is an episode of Aqua, it is really a good example of how much of an idiot she is and it's absolutely glorious.

5 Season 2, Episode 3: Peace For The Master Of This Labyrinth! (8.2)

In an attempt to earn some money, Kazuma and Aqua investigate a labyrinth within Keele's dungeon. After consistently attracting the undead it's learned that Aqua's holy aura keeps bringing them back. What's great about this episode is the little tidbits like what Darkness and Megumin are doing amidst all this. After meeting up with Keele, they learn about his emotional backstory and how all he wants is a priest to send him to the afterlife. A funny yet surprisingly wholesome episode.

4 Season 2, Episode 1: Give Me Deliverance From This Judicial Injustice! (8.3)

While the girls are off continuing their fight against the Devil King, Kazuma has to deal with the criminal justice system after accidentally blowing up a mansion that belonged to a noble. Being prosecuted by the likes of Sena, the interrogation scene during all of this is hilarious. Combined with Aqua once again stumbling with her attempts to free Kazuma from prison and a cheeky Star Wars text crawl and it's a great way to start the second season.

3 Season 2, Episode 5: Servitude For This Masked Knight! (8.3)

Thanks to Aqua's magic circle back in Keele's dungeon, mysterious dolls that explode begin to show up across town. Going back to the dungeon, it is learned that the dolls are being controlled by Vanir, one of the Devil Kings commanders. Although he was initially defeated, he places his mask on Darkness to control her, only to be weirded out by her masochistic tendencies. Definitely one of the funniest episodes that introduced a great supporting character and the dolls are just adorable.

2 Season 1, Episode 10: Kono Rifujin Na Yousai Ni Shuuen O!(8.4)

The final episode of the first season, Kazuma and the party are tasked with stopping the Destroyer, a moving fortress that can destroy the town. Not only is the concept of the destroyer interesting but it's also fascinating for the cast to deal with a threat that is seemingly unstoppable.

It all culminates with Aqua summoning all of her magical abilities to stun the Destroyer and Megumin along with Wiz to finish the job. Complete with solid animation, it all comes to a head with the beginning of season 2, with Kazuma going to jail for destroying a noble's mansion.

1 Season 2, Episode 10: God's Blessings On This Wonderful Party! (8.6)

Megumin doing a spell in Konosuba

The final episode for season 2, it is easy to see why the episode is considered the best according to IMDb. After escaping from an angry mob, the party learns that the town's water supply had been poisoned thanks to Hans The Deadly Poison Slime.

Combined with some of the best animation seen from the show to date, facing off against one of the strongest opponents and an amazing ending that viewers beg for more KonoSuba and it's no wonder why the series is absolutely fantastic.
