It's no secret that Kazuma of Konosuba is just a bad hero in general. Kazuma has a tendency to try and be promiscuous by recruiting succubi, throw his party members into danger, and ignore his quest to take down the demon king.

Surprisingly though, there are a ton of anime characters out there that are much worse than Kazuma. The characters below all have some painfully obvious character flaws that fans have pointed out over the years. Most of them are even considered heroes, much like Kazuma is, which makes fans wonder just how they got that title in the first place.

10 Brock - Pokémon

Brock kneeling down and holding Lucy's hands in Pokémon.

Brock is, in most fans' opinions, completely annoying. Most women can tell you how annoying it is to randomly be hit on by a man you've just met or even never met. Brock hits on a different woman in just about every episode of the Pokémon anime, even if the ladies are in the middle of their workday.

At least Kazuma doesn't go around trying to talk with every female adventurer.

9 Miroku - Inuyasha

Miroku with a slap mark on face in Inuyasha.

Miroku is another example of men in anime that are pretty scummy. Miroku does settle down some later on, but even after knowing about Sango's feelings, he still tends to wander. It's a wonder that Miroku didn't end up getting killed by a jealous demon in the series with how many women he hit on.

Kazuma never purposely touches a woman; he just uses his steal ability to harass them, which is extremely problematic and makes him unlikeable.

8 Makoto Ito - School Days

Makoto Sekai and Kotonoha from School Days.

Makoto Itou is one of the worst characters on this list. Makoto is the lead character in School Days, an anime that watches him get a sweet girlfriend and then proceed to cheat on her. In the end, Makoto ends up getting murdered by his girlfriend and only then shows any real remorse for his actions.

At least when Kazuma tries to settle down, he stays loyal.

7 Panty - Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt

Panty may be an angel, but she acts like anything but. Panty is constantly chasing after men she deems as hot and caring about her own looks more than keeping monsters at bay. Panty even becomes famous at one point and completely edits her sister out of the movie so she can be more of a star.

Panty may even be the most self-centered anime character that fans have ever seen, lending to her unlikeable nature.

6 Master Roshi - Dragon Ball

Master Roshi Without Shades

Master Roshi literally carries around adult magazines everywhere and hits on any pretty woman who dare visit him. While he may be a strong human, his manners with the ladies just aren't that great. It's not surprising that you never really see Goku's wife want to go visit him on his island.

Once again, Kazuma seem is too reserved to go through all the effort that Roshi does, Kazuma would never actively pursue his comrades' partners.

5 Minoru Mineta - My Hero Academia

Mineta Freaking Out From My Hero Academia

Mineta is a pretty useless hero who likely only exists to be a bit of a gag. When he isn't trying to cower away from danger, he is using his ability to pretty much cheat his way through completion, as seen at the beginning of My Hero Academia.

Mineta also has a tendency for hitting on every pretty lady he sees. It's no wonder that Mineta isn't as popular as the other heroes in the series.

4 Nobuyuki Sogo - Sword Art Online

Sugou in Sword Art Online.

Nobuyuki s one of the only villains on this list and is completely creepy. Nobuyuki is obsessed with Asuna in Sword Art Online and keeps her comatose in another game so that he can marry her. Inside of the game, he harasses her and keeps her locked up in a birdcage that only he can visit.

The best part about this villain is when Kirito is able to cut him down, finally getting justice for Sugo's despicable deeds.

3 Mizore Shirayuki - Rosario+Vampire

Mizore is pretty creepy in Rosario+Vampire when all things are considered. She constantly harasses Tsukune, who is very obviously in love with Moka. Mizore is willing to do just about anything, including encasing the poor human in ice, in order to make him into her husband.

Once again, Kazuma isn't aggressive enough to ever go to such horrible lengths in Konosuba.

2 Tomoko Kuroki - WataMote

Tomoko is one of the worst portrayals of an Otaku in anime. She is obsessed with being popular and regularly listens to drama CDs about yandere boys or men who would kill for her. Tomoko has a very twisted sense of friendship and would be willing to do just about anything to earn popularity.

Kazuma, on the other hand, is happy with his life and doesn't seem to bother others.

1 Shigure Sohma - Fruits Basket

In spite of Shigure taking cousins Yuki, Kyo, or homeless Tohru into his home, he is not a good person. In fact, Shigure is an antagonist in Fruits Basket, often trying to manipulate situations to his advantage. On the outside, he acts like a promiscuous older man, but on the inside, he is willing to literally break Tohru down to earn the love of Akito.

Shigure at times is way more self-centered than Kazuma could ever try to be.
