Komikwerks Announces Comic-Con Print Anthology Preview Edition

Boston, MA - Komikwerks, a leader in online and digitally distributed comics, has announced that it will be selling advanced copies of it's first two print anthology books at the 2003 San Diego Comic-Con International. Komikwerks Volume 1 and Komikwerks Volume 2, which will be in stores in August and November, respectively, will each have a limited amount of copies to be sold specifically at the convention.

"We just couldn't wait," said co-founder Shannon Denton, "We're very excited about our first two anthologies, so we wanted to share these books with everyone as soon as possible! The contributors are all professional animators, designers and artists, but many of them are first-time comic creators so this is going to be fun for everyone."

Co-founder Patrick Coyle added, "ComicCon is a great place to introduce fans to our contributors. We want readers to be able to meet the creators, get the books signed, get sketches - all the things that make a convention a fun and unique place to buy comics."

Creators Danny Miki (Ultimate X-Men, Spawn), Andy Kuhn (Grendel, Firebreather), Aaron Sowd (JLA, Batman), Matt Haley (Gen 13, Tomb Raider), S.D. Lara (Batman Beyond), Vinton Heuck (He-Man), and Caroline Hu (Osmosis Jones) - all of whom have contributed comics to the website and books - will be sitting at the Komikwerks booth signing books for fans throughout the convention.

Visit Komikwerks in booth # 3353 at the San Diego Comic-Con to purchase an advance copy of Komikwerks Volume 1 or Komikwerks Volume 2, and to get a sketch or signature from the many contributors.

Retailers take note: Komikwerks will also treat storeowners who attend the convention to a "super retailer discount". Please stop by the Komikwerks booth to get details.
