The anime and music producing company PONY CANYON recently published a new remix album produced by musician Kohta Yamamoto, titled Rearrangement Reaction on June 29th, 2022. Rearrangement Reaction is based on Kohta Yamamoto's chosen favorite tracks from a few PONY CANYON anime.

Kohta Yamamoto brilliantly throws a new spin on different tracks of Attack on Titan: The Final Season. This includes "Splinter Wolf", an insert song in Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2, and "Shogeki", the ending song of Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 1, originally produced by Yuko Ando. On June 28th, 2022, an official music video for "Splinter Wolf KOHTA YAMAMOTO Self-Remix" was uploaded by PONY CANYON on YouTube.

His new take on "Splinter Wolf" reveals a much lighter-hearted spunky pop-rock piece that differs significantly in style from the original dramatic track. While the newly remixed "Shogeki", originally by Yuko Ando, reveals a smooth electronic melody with additional reverb effects.

The album also features remixes of tracks from less-known anime series produced by PONY CANYON such as Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway, Battle Game in 5 Seconds, and SSSS.DYNAZENON.

Kohta Yamamoto started his career in 2015, and has done exceptionally well to gain popularity. The first anime he composed music for was the sequel of Blue Exorcist, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga. He often produces music alongside the infamous Sawano Hiroyuki, one of the most favored anime music composers in the industry. The two have been featured together on the soundtracks for The Seven Deadly Sins, Kingdom Season 3 and 4, 86 Eighty-Six, and Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 1 & 2. Both Kohta Yamamoto and Sawano Hiroyuki were awarded Best Soundtrack at the Anime Trending Awards for the music they produced for 86 Eighty-Six.

Rearrangement Reaction by Kohta Yamamoto features seven tracks in total, running 29 minutes and 47 seconds in length, and is available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. The digital album is also available for purchase through the iTunes Store.
