This is the latest in a feature where I just share some bit of comic book history that interests me. Here is a collection of all of the installments in the feature so far.

In last week's The Wrong Side, about Gambit and Gladiator's ill-fated fight, I mentioned (in our traditional "How did each character do in a fight with Spider-Man?), I mentioned that the only time that Spider-Man had ever fought Gladiator was in a giveaway comic as part of a Drake's snack cakes. I asked if anyone had a copy they could share with the world, and reader Antoine V. answered the bell! Read on for Spider-Man's battle against Gladiator...

Written by Eric Fein with art by Jim Craig and Randy Emberlin, the concept of the story is that a bunch of alien bad guys show up on Earth and con Spider-Man into thinking that they are refugees, not wanted criminals. Gladiator shows up to take them out and, well, Spider-Man steps in to stop things.

Not such a great result for Spider-Man.

Thanks for the help, Antoine!
