Debuting on Entertainment Weekly, the images feature the return of Taron Egerton's Eggsy and Mark Strong's Merlin, who look as dapper as in the first movie. The photos also spotlight the franchise's three newcomers: Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry, who play members of the Statesman, the U.S. counterpart to the Kingsmen. Tatum and Bridges appear in Western-style clothes, while Berry's attire resembles the more suit-and-tie aesthetic of the Kingsmen.

Taron Egerton for Kingsman: The Secret Service

Although Colin Firth's Harry Hart is slated to return, despite his apparent demise in "Kingsman: The Secret Service," he doesn't show up in any of these first shots.

In the accompanying interview, Strong teased a potential romance between his character and Berry's Ginger. "I quite like playing the tech nerd who can handle himself in a conflict situation," he said. "But what I really like about this second film is that Merlin meets Halle Berry's character, who plays his equivalent role in the Statesmen. And she had her clipboard and her glasses, just like Merlin. And what happens when two tech nerds come together? Might there be some geeky love?"

Jeff Bridges in Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" picks up after the events of the 2015 film, with protagonist Eggsy having become Galahad. Here's the official synopsis:

"Kingsman: The Secret Service" introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In "Kingsman: The Golden Circle," our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents' strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…
