The much awaited follow up to 2005's Kingdom Hearts II finally got a release date! It was announced at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour that Kingdom Hearts III will be released January 29th, 2019 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4— which is a bit later than the initial release date of 2018 that fans had been expecting for the last few months.

In the trailer that came out following the announcement for the Disney/Final Fantasy collaboration, fans got a glimpse of a not-yet-revealed world appearing in the new Kingdom Hearts game: Frozen. The new trailer focused heavily on the world of one of Disney's greatest commercial successes in recent years, primarily on two fan-favorite characters: Elsa and Olaf.

This is not the first new world that we'll be seeing in-game. Films like Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Tangled are also going to be making their first appearances in Kingdom Hearts III. However, based on the trailer, it would seem as if the Frozen world might play a larger role in the Kingdom Hearts mythos than these other worlds, particularly Elsa.

It would seem that there is going to be a struggle over Elsa's alignment -- light or darkness -- and that this is going to be related to Roxas and Aqua.

Releasing on Xbox One and Playstation 4, Kingdom Hearts III hits shelves on January 29, 2019.
