It looks like Alfred is teaming up with Daredevil and Professor Slughorn to stage a bold heist in the first trailer for King of Thieves.

The upcoming British crime film stars Academy Award winner Michael Caine leading an impressive cast including Charlie Cox, Jim Broadbent, and Ray Winstone as aging robbers looking to pull one last score on a jewelry vault. With exception of Cox, the career criminals face their own advanced age as they pull off the heist only to begin to turn on each other as they face pressure from the law led by Michael Gambon while trying to offload the stolen goods.

"We go down the shaft like Spider-Man and then through the walls," explains Caine to Cox. "And then the vault is ours."

The film is based off of true story of an April 2015 robbery of the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company. The heist was plotted and carried out almost entirely by men in their 60s and 70s stealing over $260 million in what became the largest burglary in British history. By March of this year, ten men had been arrested in connection to the robbery.

With the former Alfred Pennyworth and current Matt Murdock preparing for the heist of a lifetime in a film recreating the notorious incident, it seems, as always, truth is stranger than fiction.

Directed by James Marsh (The Theory of Everything), King of Thieves stars Michael Caine, Michael Gambon, Charlie Cox, Jim Broadbent, Ray Winstone, and Tom Courtenay. It is scheduled to open in theaters in the United Kingdom on September 24.
