22Last year, there was considerable talk concerning a possible King of the Hill reboot, centering on the adventures of an adult Bobby Hill. Although it's unknown whether that project is going forward, it got fans talking about what other spin-offs they'd like to see.

Below are five potential spin-offs we think deserve Hank's coveted "Blue Flame of Valor." And the other five? Well, they just...  ain't right.

10 BLUE FLAME OF VALOR: "GUILLAUME'S ANGELS"

One of the more intriguing elements of Bill Dauterive's character is his pedigree: the slob is a descendant of a well-heeled New Orleans family complete with ante-bellum mansion. Bill's the only heterosexual male member left in the family, and he has two beautiful widowed cousins-in-law (and one cousin!) eager to procreate with him. Although cousin Gilbert popped up in season 11 to tell him that the Dauterive estate was going to be converted into a waterpark,  there is reason to think the sale fell through.

After retiring from the Army, we see William Fontaine de La Tour Dauterive (aka "Guillaume") returning to the family estate to live with comely relatives Violetta, Girac, and Rene. In the years since we last saw them, they've earned private investigators' licenses and have been draining the Louisiana swamps of corruption. Essentially Charlie's Angels meets Big Love, Bill helps the gals fight crime and assists them in adding new branches to the family tree.

9 AIN'T RIGHT:  "SINGLE WHITE DALE"

After Nancy's body is possessed by a 13th century demon who causes her to file for divorce, Dale is forced to pack up the Bug-a-bago to start a new life in Montana as radio host for an "info wars" type media conglomerate. Ostensibly on the air to spew conspiracy theories, Dale soon becomes sucked into personal lives of his callers. He starts dispensing his own nutty brand of advice, which is a hit with his just-as-crazy audience.

He's great at giving romantic tips to militia members and doomsday preppers, but Dale's own love life is a mess. He does have a "will they/won't they" vibe with the clerk at his trailer park. But Dale's hesitant to get involved with Vegans, especially when he suspects they're on the planet illegally.

8 BLUE FLAME OF VALOR: "BOOMHAUER, TEXAS RANGER"

Hank's buddy Boomhauer is one of the most mysterious characters on the series. The unintelligibly mumbling lady's man has many secrets from the audience. It wasn't until late in the series's run that we learned his first name was Jeff. And Season 13 laid another bomb on us: the Rainey Street romeo was also a Texas Ranger.

After 13 seasons of seeing what Boomhauer does on his off hours, we want to see him in action! We're also particularly interested in seeing if the criminals he arrests truly understand their Miranda Rights. Maybe the wily old vet is training a hot-shot young rookie named Joseph Gribble. Jeff is wise enough to tamper down his young partner's impulses. Hopefully, the young buck will let Boomhauer make it to retirement.

7 AIN'T RIGHT: "REDCORNIFICATION"

Nancy finally leaves Dale for her lover/healer John Redcorn, and the couple's future seems bright when Dale moves to Montana.  But domestic bliss isn't in the cards.  Nancy's career at Channel 84 takes off, and Redcorn resents being seen as a celebrity boy-toy.  So he packs up his Jeep and moves to Telluride, Colorado, where he opens up a new age spa.  It soon becomes a popular destination with East Coast divorcees and trophy wives looking for some... relaxation.

The series focuses on John's attempts to find inner peace, while often succumbing to temptation.  He also tries to reach artistic heights as a solo singer-songwriter, now that his group Big Mountain Fudgecake has been disbanded.

6 BLUE FLAME OF VALOR: "AMERI-KHAN ABROAD"

After retiring from his job, Kahn Sousanousinphone soon grows bored of hanging out at the Nine Rivers Country Club.  When frenemy Ted Wassanasong offers him a business opportunity in their native Laos, he's intrigued. Ted wants Kahn to become a part-owner of  a new company that manufactures "burner phones" for the budget-minded and criminally inclined. Kahn jumps at the chance to become a mogul, and eventually convinces Minh that it's time to move back home.

It's culture clash comedy as Kahn and Minh learn just how American they've become in the last forty years. When will the People's Democratic Republic finally get DoorDash? Complicating matters further, Minh's parents move into the guest house. Will Khan ever win "The General's" approval? Not for the first five seasons!

5 AIN'T RIGHT: "THE NIGHT STANDER"

In addition to being a stellar substitute Spanish teacher, Peggy occasionally wrote for the local newspaper, the Arlen Spectator. While writing a household hints column, she once accidentally gave people the recipe for mustard gas. That wasn't enough to get her fired. Then she wrote the truth about an advertiser. She was canned soon after.

Peggy's gone, but there's still action at Arlen's contribution to the Fourth Estate. Hard nosed editor Roddy Rae Biffel is always on the lookout for hard news (that doesn't offend anyone.) And gossip maven Bob Jenkins keeps the Arlen society scene on their toes with his "Eye on Arlen." This spin-off would take a cue from the cult classic "The Night Stalker," and have Jenkins and Biffel exposing the supernatural underbelly of this  Texas town. Vampires, werewolves, aliens --  everything  Dale knew lurked nearby, but could never prove.

4 BLUE FLAME OF VALOR: "TOUCHED BY BUCKLEY"

One of the more touching events in the series's run was the death of Luanne's boyfriend, Buckley. Although he wasn't exactly a genius, the kid had a sweet side. After he died in the Megal0-Mart explosion, Luanne was crushed. Buckley's Angel returned to help her with her grief.

Buckley's Angel star in his own vehicle. Helping mortals overcome emotional issues, while hitting on the hot ones? Seems a natural for the Hallmark Channel.

3 AIN'T RIGHT: "ENRIQUE'S NEIGHBORHOOD"

In Season 12, Hank's loyal employee Enrique had a problem: hipsters had invaded his formerly working class neighborhood. This has sitcom gold written all over it! Enrique is played by Danny Trejo, who's a comedy natural. He's the Archie Bunker for the 21st Century, as he deals with these millennial idiots. He'll only take so much before he goes full machete on their asses.

2 AIN'T RIGHT: "BUCK WILD"

No character had a better time on the show than Hank's boss, Buck Strickland. Selling propane and propane accessories isn't exactly glamorous; Buck had to get his kicks where he could. Whether is getting the buffet lunch as his favorite strip club "Jugstore Cowboys" or betting on cock fighting in Arkansas, Buck knows how to party.

But Buck is not beyond redemption. This show would follow Strickland has he flees the US for the Philippines.  Although he plans to open a resort for international sex tourists, he winds up helping run his cousin-the-nun's orphanage, and discovers there's more to life than hedonism. Things take a turn when he learns several of the kids are his.

1 BLUE FLAME OF VALOR: "LUANNE LOVES LUCKY"

One of the great elements about the later years of King of the Hill was the addition of Lucky, a good natured redneck who made a fortune when he "slipped on pee-pee at the Costco." He soon fell in love with Luanne. Their age difference initially bothered the Hills, but Lucky eventually won them over. They eventually got married (a shotgun wedding, per Lucky's family tradition) and had a daughter, Gracie.

Even more special than Luanne and Lucky were the people who played them: Brittany Murphy and Tom Petty. Both were beloved members of the cast, and both passed away before their time. This is the spin-off that we'd love to see most. Unfortunately, it's the only one that's impossible.
