Marvel Comics has given CBR an exclusive preview of King in Black: Spider-Man #1, by Jed MacKay, Michele Bandini, Elisabetta D'Amico, Erick Arciniega and VC's Joe Caramagna. In the preview, Peter blames himself for bringing the Symbiote back following 1984/1985's Secret Wars event, which was written by Jim Shooter and pencilled by Mike Zeck and Bob Layton, which set off the chain of events that led to Knull's invasion. Soon after, he swings into action and accidentally punches Humberto Lopez/Reptil, who is helping an old lady during Knull's attack.
