Earlier today, DC Comics announced they had signed “Grayson” scribe Tom King to an exclusive deal. However, that left the status of “The Vision” — his current Marvel Comics series with Gabriel Hernandez Walta — up in the air. In order to assuage the fears of fans who were concerned he may leave the book prematurely, King took to Twitter to reassure them he would stay on “The Vision” through the end of its 12-issue run, which will likewise end his involvement with Marvel Comics.
“As to ‘Vision,’ I’m on through issue 12,” he wrote. “We’re finishing the story we set out to tell without a single compromise.”
While King’s Tweet reveals he will stick with “The Vision” through its 12th issue, it also confirms his departure from the series.

King has established himself as one of the biggest rising stars in comics, between launching “Grayson” with co-writer Tim Seeley, attracting acclaim for cult-favorite series “Omega Men.” King received attention for the recently launched “The Vision,” hailed as one of the most unique series in the All-New, All-Different Marvel lineup.
