Kid Flash Gets An Ego, Vibe Battles Gypsy In Mid-Season Flash Trailer

Wally West's Kid Flash persona gets a cheering section, Vibe hits on Gypsy (after she hits him), and Julian becomes a solid member of Team Flash -- whether the other like it or not. We learn all this, and more, in the 60-second peek into the second half of "The Flash's" third season.

Iris' future death at the hands of Savitar is touched upon in the trailer's start, but it quickly gives way to Candice Patton's character willfully placing herself in harm's way, presumably fearless now that she knows how she's "supposed" to die. "I want my life to mean something," she explains to Barry," "that I, Iris West, mattered."

DC COMICS’ GYPSY ARRIVES ON EARTH-1 – H.R.’s (Tom Cavanagh) past catches up with him when a bounty hunter with vibe powers named Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) arrives in Central City to bring him back to Earth-19 to stand trial for his crime. It turns out inter-dimensional travel is illegal on their Earth. H.R. surrenders but when Barry (Grant Gustin) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) find out that H.R.’s only hope would be to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death, they intercede and Cisco offers to fight Gypsy instead. Harry Jierjian directed the episode with story by Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes and teleplay by Zack Stentz (FLA311). Original airdate 1/31/2017.

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, “The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
