The younger, time-displaced version of Cable will star in his first solo comic by writer Gerry Duggan and artist Phil Noto.

Set to debut in March 2020, Cable will follow Nathan Summers as he continues the Cable tradition of taking younger X-Men under his wing, with the series teasing appearances by Pixie and Armor.

“I’m thrilled to be back working in the X-Universe and very happy to get the band back together with my buddy, Gerry Duggan,” Noto said in a press release. “Cable’s always been a favorite of mine and it’s fun to work in a painterly style again ala Black Widow. Very excited for people to read this book. I think we’re doing something really special. Stay tuned!”

"Kid Cable" made his official debut in Extermination #1 as the mystery man hunting the time-displaced, Original Five X-Men. Cable was shown killing his older counterpart before his identity was revealed. The young Cable later starred in a new volume of X-Force that spun out of the events of Extermination. Cable is currently a member of the Fallen Angels Dawn of X book.

Written by Gerry Duggan with art by Phil Noto, Cable #1 goes on sale March 2020 from Marvel Comics.
