Kick-Ass, Thor, Scot Pilgrim: Dec 7th Comic Reel

Director Matthew Vaughn discusses the film at Crave Online. "It's 11-year-old girls slicing and dicing people, and getting shot. I mean, I'm very bored of the way most of the big movies shoot action, all this shaky camera, handheld, close cutting, quick cutting. So I've tried to put a narrative story into every action sequence," says Vaughn.

Starring Nicholas Cage, release date: April 16th, 2010

Stan Lee has been using his Twitter page to talk up his cameo in the film. "I went easy on Ken Branagh when we discussed my role in Thor. Told him I wouldn't insist on my name above the title, I think he was grateful," says Lee.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, release date: May 20th, 2011

Greg Motolla, director of "Adventureland," tells his Twitter followers (via Slashfilm) he has seen the film. "I would say that Scott Pilgrim is the wittiest action movie you'll ever see, but that's just the half of it," says Motolla.

Starring Michael Cera and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, release date: 2010

Mania.com continues their talk with Rick Remender about his various projects. On the topic of "Fear Agent," Remender says, "It's one of those things where there's been motion but none of it is ready to be announced. They want to make sure they have all their ducks in a row so they can do one sort of ka-pow with the announcement. But it's still in the works. It's still moving forward. Fingers crossed, because if it happens the way that it could happen, man, it would be perfect. I'm just hoping all the planets align the way they should."

Release date: TBA

Peter Jackson informs IGN that the production is currently auditioning unknown actors for the part of Bilbo. Meanwhile, Jackson tells Collider the film is not delayed, "We were due to deliver the scripts and be shooting sometime around April and now I think I said in an interview we were shooting in June.  And somehow people are now saying the film is delayed.  As far as I am aware, they are not delayed at all.  I am not even sure when we are going to start shooting ... we are delivering the scripts just after Christmas they'll be finished and we'll be shooting as soon as we possibly can.  But you need a certain amount of time to finish the pre-production." There's even video in which Jackson cannot confirm Warner Brothers plans for the Blu-Ray release of "The Lord of the Rings."
