Actor Chloë Grace Moretz recently admitted she'd return as superhero Hit-Girl for Kick-Ass 3, but revealed one major demand: Jimmy Fallon would have to be a part of the project.

Moretz joked about acting alongside the talk show host during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which also saw the actor discussing her new Hulu film Mother/Android. "You're gonna be Kick-Ass this time, though," Moretz said in a clip from the interview posted on YouTube. "Don't tell Aaron [Taylor-Johnson]."

The actor added that what would actually get her to sign on as Hit-Girl for the third time would be bringing back the original cast. Moretz also admitted the script would have to be perfect.

"I mean, I think I would love to do a Kick-Ass 3. I think it'd be really fun to see where Hit-Girl goes and what she's like as an adult," Moretz continued. "But I think it would have to be kind of perfect. You know, I feel like it would need to be, across the board [perfect] -- Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chris Mintz-Plasse and the whole crew back together."

When Fallon suggested a potential third installment in the franchise would have to be "as funny and as perfect as the other two were," Moretz was quick to agree, noting, "I think it'd be a lot of fun."

Moretz's latest comments about being a part of Kick-Ass 3 suggest she's had a change of heart since saying in 2018 she "wished [Kick-Ass 2] had been handled in a little bit of a different way." "I love the franchise, I think the first movie was really, really special," she said at the time. "I kinda wanna keep everyone's mind in Kick-Ass. So I don't think there will be a Kick-Ass 3, at least I don't think with Hit-Girl in it."

Kick-Ass co-creator Mark Miller admitted in November he's got ideas for continuing the story, but added there are currently "no plans" to make a third film. "We do have one last [Kick-Ass] story to tell, which is the big finale storyline," Millar revealed. "I kind of like the idea of that as well, because practically we can come back a little later to all the characters in different places, so there's a potential story there at some point." While Millar also previously confirmed he loved the idea of doing a Hit-Girl spinoff film, that has yet to come to fruition.

In the meantime, Moretz can be seen in the sci-fi thriller Mother/Android, which premieres on Hulu on Dec. 17.
