Several members of James Gunn's Suicide Squad 2 cast dropped by the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow event in Atlanta. Kevin Smith, writer and director of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, shared several images of himself, Jason Mewes and others with The Suicide Squad cast members that attended.

"In #atlanta, it was the @suicidesquadmovie vs @jayandsilentbob!" Smith said in the caption. "Our buddy and Reboot costar @dastmalchian brought his friends from #thesuicidesquad shoot to the #jayandsilentbobrebootroadshow Tour, but if I told you who’s playing who, @jamesgunn might Gunn me down!"

David Dastmalchian's role in Suicide Squad 2 hasn't been confirmed, though it's been heavily rumored he will play Polka Dot Man. The actor played a SWAT officer in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

The Jay and Silent Bob Reboot Roadshow is currently continuing its tour around the country. The tour's last stop will be in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 26, 2020.

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters Aug. 6, 2021. Several cast members from 2016's Suicide Squad will reprise their roles, including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. Also joining the cast are David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Joaquin Cosio, Nathan Fillion, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Idris Elba and Michael Rooker.
