Prominent writer/director/podcaster, Kevin Smith caught something interesting in the latest season of Netflix's Stranger Things.

Smith posted a screenshot from Stranger Things Season 3 that shows Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven protecting her friends from oncoming danger. According to Smith, the actress bears a striking resemblance to a young Jason Mewes in this particular shot.

"Holy sh-t! In this [Stranger Things] screen grab, [Millie Bobby Brown] looks exactly like a [Mallrats] era [Jason Mewes]!" Smith wrote on Facebook. "And in Season 3, there’s an episode called 'The Mall Rats.' This is turning my world upside down!"

Of course, Smith wrote and directed the comedy film Mallrats, which was released in 1995. The film marked the second on-screen appearance of Mewes and Smith's characters, Jay and Silent Bob, following their debut in Clerks one year prior.

Jay and Silent Bob went have gone on to appear in many more of Smith's films, including Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II and Jay & Silent Bob's Groovy Cartoon Movie. The duo is set to return in the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, which is currently scheduled for release on Oct. 15. Additionally, Smith has stated the characters will also appear in his upcoming film Moose Jaws.
