According to ComicBook.com, Smith's likely to direct an episode in the first half of Season 3, considering the show's return to production in July.

Smith's first directorial effort for the series, Season 2's "The Runaway Dinosaur," airs next week. According to actor Carlos Valdes (Cisco), who shares his opinion with other cast and crew members, Smith was a delight to work with: "He killed it, knocked it out of the park, man. He was so giving as a director, so trusting. He essentially allowed so many of the people working on the show to have the freedom to tell this story the way that they knew how."

"The Flash" airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
