The world at large has yet to see Ben Affleck as Batman, but a select few have already glimpsed the Oscar winner's costume as Batman Vs. Superman continues to take shape.

One such person is Kevin Smith, frequent Affleck collaborator, and also the moderator of the Man of Steel fan event that took place over the weekend. During a recent podcast appearance, Smith revealed he's seen what Affleck's Batman looks like — and his description puts the whole "a picture is worth 1,000 words" saying to the test.

Here's the quote, according to Nerd Bastards:

"I saw the costume. More than that I saw him [Ben Affleck] in the costume … I don’t want to give anything away, 'cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this … I instantly bear-hugged [Zack Snyder]. You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this Matrix-y black armor thing. … There wasn’t a single nipple on this [frick]ing suit, man. I think everyone is gonna be like ‘Holy shit!’ We haven’t been down this path before. Even the hardest-core “[frick] this movie” person will be like, ‘All right, I’m ready!'"

Smith described the costume further, saying it was very much influenced by a certain comic book artist, but the artist's name was redacted from the recording.

Batman Vs. Superman hits theaters on July 17, 2015. It's safe to assume we'll all have a better idea of the "Batfleck" costume before then.
