Kevin Smith has been feeling the love since he suffered a massive heart attack last week. Many people in the industry, such as Mark Hamill and Chris Pratt, have been showing their appreciation for Smith, but the casts and crews of CW's The Flash and Supergirl just took it up a notch.

Smith posted the cards he received from both teams on Twitter, calling them his "friends & family." Smith has directed several episodes of these shows and expressed on multiple occasions that he always has a blast working with the teams. Clearly, the feeling is mutual.

The Supergirl team's card claimed that "the world needs heroes like you" and included a delightful cartoon of Smith, while The Flash folks wished him a "speedy recovery." There's clearly a lot of humor and heart present on these sets, which likely explains why Smith is so drawn to them.

Shortly after his "massive" heart attack, the director, writer and sometimes-actor took to Facebook Live to give fans an update on his condition, and to say thanks for all the support he's received since the incident. Smith is famous for cult-classic films like Clerks and Dogma, as well as AMC's Comic Book Men. He also hosts several podcasts, including Fatman on Batman and Smodcast.
