WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of Kevin Can F**K Himself, "Fixed," now available on AMC.

In Season 1 of Kevin Can F**k Himself, Allison (Annie Murphy) tries everything to get rid of her husband, Kevin (Eric Petersen). Sadly, things backfire repeatedly as it seems that he's got a guardian angel looking out for him.

In the season finale, "Fixed," things get even more complicated as Allison's accomplice, Patty (Mary Hollis Inboden), makes a brutal move to protect their secret, so let's dissect how this sets up a second season.

Keeping Neil Quiet

When Patty and Allison argued in Kevin's living room about the murder plot, Patty's brother and Kevin's bestie, Neil, was playing hide-and-seek. He heard everything from the laundry room but as he tried to call Kevin, he and Allison got into a scuffle.

It ended with Patty rushing back inside after hearing Allison's screams and smashing a bottle over Neil's head. Season 2 will focus on how they get Neil to stay silent. Patty might threaten Neil with death or some other dirt she's got on him. Either way, Neil's pretty loyal so he's a loose end that Allison might need to tie up by killing him too. Patty doesn't love Neil as much, so to not incriminate herself she may endorse the plot against her sibling.

Nick Coming Back to Life

Nick's the hitman Allison hired to kill Kevin, but in a botched home invasion, he got shot and is in a coma. However, despite his family pulling the plug, Nick's still alive. Season 2 will most likely have him revived, so it'll leave Allison and Patty with another problem if he decides to talk.

Tammy, the detective on the case, is eager to speak to Nick as he's a known junkie. So apart from the break-in, she'll use him to figure out who's dealing to the majority of people in Worcester. Nick's another liability the ladies may need to wrap up as we can see him blackmailing them so that he doesn't snitch.

Allison's Messy Love Life

Sam and Allison are seated in the crowd at an AA meeting with Sam raising a hand

Firstly, Allison needs to sort out her affair with Sam. He's finally left Jenn and wants a proper relationship, but Allison isn't sure as she feels like she'll be settling again. Seeing that she's working at Sam's diner, she has to address this problem ASAP. Jenn's parents financed the place, so they -- and Jenn -- may come around and discover the infidelity, hampering the business.

As for Kevin and Allison, he'll be wrapped up in running for office as people thinks he's their "Everyday Hero!" The campaign's off to a good start but seeing that he doesn't care if Allison is lashing out, it could provide a distraction to try to assassinate him, especially as he's already comparing himself to JFK. However, more eyes and the media will be on him, so it could be tricky.

Patty and Tammy's Dilemma

Tammy and Patty stand next to eachother in a bar, both facing the camera

Patty's also in a pickle as she and Tammy are dating after it seemed like the officer thought she was a suspect. Now, Patty's pissed that Allison has been using her as a spy, which led to speculation about Patty and Allison have feelings for each other. What complicates things is that Kurt, Patty's ex, visited the salon and dropped hints that Patty's got a dark side, thus Tammy might actually become a spy herself.

She's already snooping around the salon, realizing there's a lot of old products that don't sell and appointments are low. She can connect the dots, check the books and figure out that with business slow, Patty may indeed be the drug dealer she's looking for. Tammy's already jealous of Allison being so close to Patty, so once the detective sees there's always crime surrounding both women, she will turn on Patty. It'll be a cat-and-mouse game for sure, with Patty ultimately trying to throw her off the trail.

Season 1 of AMC's Kevin Can F**k Himself is officially complete. All episodes are available to stream on AMC+.
