The famed Jedi general may be getting his second-in-command on the live-action Disney+ series centering on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

According to Kessel Run Transmissions host Corey Van Dyke, The Clone Wars' Commander Cody and the 212th Attack Battalion will be appearing in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The details were revealed alongside new information about Ahsoka Tano's reported live-action debut in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, also on Disney+.

Commander Cody, AKA CC-2224, debuted in Revenge of the Sith, where he was portrayed by Temuera Morrison—the actor behind all of the Clone Troopers as well as Jango Fett. The character went on to play a big part in The Clone Wars animated series, serving as the second-in-command to Obi-Wan Kenobi with the 212th. When Order 66 was initiated, Cody turned on Kenobi, who escaped and went into hiding. After that, Cody and the 212th became stormtroopers and the former hero was forced to enslave the Wookiee home planet, Kashyyyk.

It's been rumored that Season 2 of The Mandalorian will actually feature Morrison in the role of Boba Fett, marking the actor's first time playing the clone son of Jango. The role is rumored to be small, but with Morrison back in the Star Wars fold, it's not hard to see him also joining the Obi-Wan series and again playing Cody—along with every other member of the 212th.

Directed by Deborah Chow and starring Ewan McGregor, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series is currently in development for Disney+ and has yet to receive a premiere date or title.
